I am Megan Lynn Davis - an Appalachian memory keeper sharing the stories of my lineage through writing, song, and fine art -  a witness to the lives that came before me, a legacy of memory for those who come after.

My blood was handed down by ancestors born of grit, faith, and deep love and responsibility for family. Southern Baptist by culture, German and Scots-Irish by heritage, this place has held 8 generations of my people - the land itself an heirloom. 

Here, I am documenting a return home - a return to my heritage, a redemption of my lineage, and a legacy born of my faith in God almighty. Here, I am preserving what was carried, reclaiming what was lost, and recording what must be passed down.
