I'm Megan - a multi-generational Madison County native, a single mother, a devoted follower of Christ, and an entrepreneur at heart. I create things that are useful, beautiful, and meaningful. When life presses hard, I've learned to turn those lived experience into systems, stories, and offerings that uplift and serve others.

A guided writing experience for the conversations you carry, but have not yet released.
Private. Reflective. Unrushed. Letters you may never send - but still need to be written.
Write to your younger self, someone you lost, someone who abused or wounded you. Write a letter to your children, or to your future self. Whatever you need to write, the goal is progress toward healing.

My paintings are not decorative filler. They are story carried in color and image form.
Wildriver Artworks is where you can commission a custom piece of Appalachian themed art rooted in land, memory, and lived experience. Each painting holds more than the landscape - it holds mood, atmosphere, and emotional weight.
The mountains are never just mountains, the sky is never just a background, and the light always tells a story.
I work primarily in acrylic and oil, layering texture, shadow, and depth to create pieces that feel lived-in rather than manufactured. My style leans toward expressive realism, but is shaped by memory and mood, and personal interpretation.
Commissioned works can be created on traditional canvas or on meaningful objects such as:

Other items that carry history or tell a story
